To Judge or Not to Judge???

Can you look at this crowd and not have some type of “JUDGEMENT?”   I like to put myself in certain social setting, just to test my “Judgement Meter.” At first glance we can look at this crowd and the “Judgement Meter” will starts to rise.  What are they wearing? Why do they dress like that? What crime did they comment?  And the list can go on and on.  What I’ve learned so far in my spiritual journey, is what I like to call my “God Antidote.”

When we see people that are different from us, do we judge then at face value.  Or do we get to know them and their story.  This is how the “God Antidote” works. I can look at this crowd close my eyes for a few seconds. Wait for the Holy Spirit to move in. Open my eyes again and the 1st thing I noticed was the words on the billboard. And at that moment the crowd looked a little different. And I begin to wonder what is their story. Because all of us are God’s “Beautiful Storytellers.” (photo taken at Afro Punk Atlanta, Ga)
